Dr. Helena was born and raised in Iceland. She moved to Marietta, Georgia in 2013 to go to Life University.  She graduated  in 2107 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Helena grew up playing soccer but chronic back injuries forced her to retire at only 19 years of age.  After trying multiple different approaches, chiropractic care changed everything for her, and she seeks to do the same for her patients.

Dr. Helena has background in massage therapy, and she incorporates that into her work as a Chiropractor

Dr. Helena grew up seeing the Northern lights in Iceland, and it is magical when you see them.  She wanted the name of her office to have a connection to Iceland, and that's how Northern Lights Chiropractic came to be.
